Ground water is supplied by a 12” cased well drilled in 2012 to a depth of 440’ paired with a 75 Hp electric motor & variable frequency drive panel. Surface water is diverted out of Thomes Creek and delivered by open ditch. Surface water is typically available from April through June. Upon arrival it is lifted from the open supply ditch, pressurized and distributed throughout the property by an underground plastic pipeline with valves, allowing the fields to be irrigated using the Reineke 3-tower center pivot and wheel lines. Additionally, there are two – 6” cased wells with submersible pumps that provide domestic and livestock water.
